 FAILURE! Compiz as a standalone in Arch Linux running in virtualbox is not practical. I was able to get it to work, but not in a manner that I would consider a success. Nonetheless, I take you through the steps necessary to get it working on an ACTUAL computer. Please READ the Compiz page on the ArchWIKI and also ensure that you have your graphics device is set-up properly. The Arch Wiki has complete details for setting up your graphics card for best performance to get this working. |

I didn't find any video at youtube which may describe on how to get these effects for Backtrack as this Linux version is hell bored in graphics. So comment here and i shall make a post at www.hackersthirst.com; on how to setup these effects in Backtrack 5 or any other Linux distro. |
